$520 for Budget rental truck ( I confirmed this price with them by phone)
$80 for movers to help load truck in Vegas (found a place online & got estimate)
$50 packing materials. Not sure how much boxes & stuff costs
$400 for gas ( Asked budget people & checked with an ap online – still not sure if this is accurate)
$60 for a hotel ( I cannot drive at night) This is a guess. It would be for 2 people & 4 dogs.
$70 for food for about 5 days. Neither one of us eats very much. Not sure if this would be enough though.
$50 help unloading in Oregon. my maintenance guys will do it cheap.
$85-130 My one way flight ( There are really cheap flights from Eugene to Vegas on aligent)
$175 to board my dog while I’m gone.
$130 initial fees to put stuff in storage.

Some of the costs I have noted I confirmed the prices on others I am not sure. I keep feeling like I’m forgetting something.

Note: I was not sure what section to post this in but I figured this would be as good as anyu. People in our field should know a bit about moving.
Yea I was not sure about that either. I forgot to mention though that they are all 7 lb or less pomeranians. I do know many hotels will allow 2 dogs so maybe if we get 2 rooms? How much would that cost?

Yea maybe on the food. I have the lapband though so I truly cannot eat much. I’ll factor closer to $85.

The flight cost includes tax & no bagage charges. I’ll only have 1 carry on. Aliegent has flights as low as $45 + tax.
My parents are dropping me off in Eugene. I used to live in Las Vegas I’m fine with taking the bus much cheaper than a cab.
Oh yea I forgot to put down I have a creidt card with a $300 limit for emergencies.

So I think if I factor a little more for food that we should have everything coverd.
Yea, Ring0Rosie I always forget about taxes. We have no sales tax here in Oregon so I just forget. I’m not sure how to check that cost though because I have no idea were we will be stopping.
erinellii – they are small enough we probably could sneak them in. Kind of goes against my nature as a landlord though.
